ARC-DS 1010
ARC-DS 1010
Boiler Scale Inhibitor
Proper boiler treatment reduces utility costs, extends the life of boilers, improves boiler efficiency, cuts downtime and lowers maintenance costs. ARC-DS Series is Albatross’s premier internal boiler treatment technology for eliminating boiler scale on heat transfer surfaces and/or inhibit boiler corrosion. ARC-DS series product range are manufactured in a unique, highly concentrated form and utilize proven, state of the art chemical technologies to offer a number of significant operational, safety and environmental benefits over traditional chemical products.
ARC- DS series Products Benefits
Highly concentrated hence save space or free-up space for alternative purposes.
Minimise waste and improve environmental performance.
Compatible with existing pumps, controllers and test kits.
In boiler systems, steam demands vigilant maintenance and sophisticated water treatment needs. Scale formation, common at the intense temperature reached in boilers, can weak the system, overheating tubes, which may eventually fail.
ARC-DS 1010 is a blend of selected scale inhibitors, dispersant and oxygen scavanger for low pressure boilers <125 PSI, formulated to precipitate calcium hardness in the boiler as sludge and prevent formation of hard calcium carbonate, silicate, and sulfate scale. Contains silica to assure precipitation of magnesium as fluid sludge.
ARC-DS 1010 dispersion qualities are employed moderating the phosphate sludge created by diminishing the sediment ability to adhere the sludge remains suspended in the boiler water until removed by the blow-down.
ARC-DS 1010 contains the best and most highly concentrated blend of selected phosphates and oxygen scavengers to assure maximum results with minimum treatment
ADVANTAGES
Reacts with feed water hardness and prevent scale deposits even in high hardness water.
Forms suspended, none adherent sludge.
Cost effective product.
Simple dosage and testing procedures
DOSAGES: ARC-DS 1010 requirements are in direct proportion to the chemical characteristics of the makeup water, boiler operations, percentage of condensate return, etc. A 30-50 PPM residual of phosphate should be maintained in the boiler. Albatross Water Treatment Consultant will provide you with the correct dosage.
FEEDING: ARC-DS 1010 can fed in a number of ways depending upon the makeup water characteristics and the boiler operations. Can be mixed and fed with other boiler water treatment chemicals. Continuous feeding by chemical metering pump is recommended. The treatment should injected to the deaerator storage section. Shot feeders can be used
